Downtown Jr's 23 Sports Grill

Great local sports grill. Simple menu but great food. The Bubba Bear wing sauce is great! It's a sweet, mild heat, made local! We were hesitant at first if this was kid friendly, but we loved it. Great vibes for a weekday meal with great specials. We will definitely be going back, and the back patio is a nice addition!

Most of the time the food here is good. Service is pretty haphazard. Sometimes okay and sometimes awful. Like the atmosphere.

We go here occasionally because it's so close and reasonably priced. But that's where the pro's of going there end. The food is blah and strange portion sizes with appetizers. It's close to cafeteria type food. If you enjoy that, you'll really dig this place. Occasionally the service is OK, but generally it's very subpar. I like nothing more than when I'm surprised by a great waitress to be able to tip generously. If someone wanted to put some time, effort and care into this place, it could be a gold mine.

Good bar feel. The scent of old beer is there, just enough so you know it is a real bar and not an "apullbees" type place. The food was good enough. Staff was great.

Nice folks, delicious wings, had a great amount of sauce. Tasted perfect. 10/10 highly recommend.
