Downtown Deli & Bakery

My friend and I were biking on the George Mickelson Trail on 10/20/25 and found this spot for lunch. GREAT service so friendly. The place is so cute like a retro dinner w I Love Lucy playing in the TV! The food was very good and gluten free options! We got baked goods to go. Highly recommend this great deli/bakery.

The lady working the front desk with the blond hair and black streaks was super rude and made it feel like it was a chore for us to be eating there. She had an attitude the entire time and was not helpful at all when we asked questions about the menu. The food itself was not bad, the tomato soup was good. However I would not come to this place as the service you have to put up with is not worth the food.

Had a wonderful breakfast here this morning. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was to die for. I had sourdough pancakes, eggs, & the bacon…..thick and candied! My wife had French toast, eggs, and the amazing bacon. We will eat here every time we come through! Definitely worth the stop

We stopped in for breakfast. We sat down immediately. The menu is huge. Our food arrived quickly and it was delicious. Everyone was very friendly. The baked goods tempted me greatly, but I was too full to indulge. I'd love to try lunch the next time I'm in Hill City.

Had breakfast here. Food was good. Staff were great. Price was fair. They have outdoor seating which made my morning more enjoyable. The bacon and eggs were cooked to my satisfaction.
