Great place to get a burger! No frills but the staff was warm and welcoming. Got a Dr Pepper in a bottle!! Not something you see a lot of and it was nice just to sit and chat with everyone.

The ladies cooking in the little jewell of a hamburger place are down to earth,jovial,and very skilled at what they do. The atomosphere was comical as a customer started to sarcastically heckle the staff. Those ladies gave it back as good as he gave it out. We all joined in,and all the while the cooking kept up! Our Double Cheese Dovie Burgers deluxe,with Dovie Sauce, blew us away with yummy goodness! This was my first time eating one. My boyfriend had had one 30 yrs ago and took me and his two Aunts from Liberty Kentucky down to Dovies. We will dream about that burger,cause it was so good!

Absolutely amazing place! Super friendly staff. Made me feel very welcome on my first time visit. The food: killer! Yes there's some grease. Its a burger joint. 🍔 those complaining about having grease on a burger must secretly be vegans. In a world full of smash burgers and gimmicks, be Dovies. Never change!

going into the place being from a town about 30 minutes away my hopes were high the burgers are unique and you won’t find any like it anywhere they fall apart as you eat them however the amount of grease was a culture shock even squeezed you could tell the burgers sucked up a ton of grease. heavy heavy on the stomach but unique in its own right not the best burger in kentucky but a close second to Lahas red castle.

Staff is polite. The burgers are definitely unique and remind me of a meatloaf. I got mine greasy, and they tasted pretty good. Atmosphere has a small town, dirty 1930s feel that takes you a step back in time, though probably not intentionally. Only complaint is their strange hours of operation that depend on sales - they'll close early on a good day, which baffles me.
