I've always had a good experience. And enjoyed their seafood. About two dozen. Four shelves was open. February 13th. I ordered 12 dozen and only received 11. That's maybe why they have a sign on the door help wanted

Doug seafood is absolutely the best place to go when you’re either in Sunset Beach or in Ocean Isle. This is right by the roundabout by the Lowe’s and the Publix. Tons of parking the service is top-notch and the prices are excellent. They have merchandise such as T-shirts and Cousy‘s for sale as well. I always recommend the shrimp to people that shop here. They also have excellent deals on crab legs. I think the box of crabs legs is roughly $25. The prices of shrimp range from $8.99 up to around $15.99. They have all sorts of options from frozen to fresh. They have shrimp that is deveined with no shell or you can get it with the heads on still. This place has a high quality selection of seafood. My crew bought Farro salmon, scallops, and tuna. All tasted excellent. Definitely stop in this joint on your way into the beach.

Doug's has fresh picked crab meat, picked in Oriental NC. I use the claw meat for crab muffins and backfin for crab cakes. For Christmas, we got snow crab legs, mussels, shrimp, and clams. The folks at Doug's are helpful and friendly.
