Daughter came to visit and decided she wanted to enjoy some of the seafood places in and around Naples. Took her to two local places of renown, popular with locals and tourists alike, and our last stop was Doug’s Seafood, in Bonita Springs. She declared this well-hidden secret favorite of locals the winner! Don’t come for the ambiance (fair to middling)…don’t come for the tony downtown crowd…but do come for the delicious, fresh food, cooked to order, and so reasonably priced! We’ve been here many times …the lobster rolls are supreme…and my fave, the grouper, as usual, was superb (If you have a hearty appetite, get the off-menu larger basket for a few extra dollars!) If the taste and quality (and price!!!) of seafood is more important than fancy tableware and luxurious surroundings…you won’

The place to go for great seafood. For me...this is where I come for my fried seafood. Unlike many places....they know not to overcook the fried food. Amazing fresh fish...shrimp. Come try out the great food here. I substitute fried zucchini for fries...something to think about.

I have been there twice in one week. They have a great Lobster Salad and Lobster Wonton. They offer wine to compliment your meal. The menu is full of good options to choose from my wife and I really enjoyed the food. They also have a kids corner to keep them busy while the food is being prepared. Tameka and Darrell are very helpful,nice and attentive to the customer's needs I highly recommend Doug's Seafood Restaurant.

The seafood here is AMAZING!!! We went in on a rainy day so the place was busy. We ordered a shrimp basket, a scallop basket and a lobster roll. The shrimp and scallops were crispy fried perfection! The lobster roll came packed solid with sweet lobster. The hush puppies were amazing with their in house cinnamon butter. The fish market there also has great deals and they can get you special types of fish upon request. I highly recommend it.

Great casual local seafood place. Had the grouper basket. Very generous and fresh portion. Fries also very fresh. You order food at the cash register. Staff very friendly. Place very clean. Note...place is hard to find...it's stuck at the rear of a strip plaza.
