Douglas County Public Library

It's a very nice library that is joined with Lake Tahoe's Library. Take advantage of the online services and order your books for pick up when you arrive. They have programs for kids and I believe you can check up up to 50 books at a time. Password for the wifi inside is love2read.

Very nice library! Very nice quiet area with computers and a printer and chairs to relax in. I am also very impressed with the breadth and extent of all of the sections of this library: fiction, nonfiction, audio, DVD children's area law library area It really truly is a great library.

It's my safe space. It's very community based too. There are so many clubs and organizations and it's such a peaceful environment.

The library staff are so kind and helpful! I have been reading and listening to many books through the RBdigital app during the pandemic. They have a good selection! I have not had the opportunity to take my baby to story time, but I am glad it is offered and hope to go one day with her. I appreciate that the library is an inclusive place that is welcoming to everyone in the community.

I went in to get tax forms. I needed directions at three different locations and each time a county employee was very helpful and sent me to where I needed to go.
