This is our go to library in the area! Their staff is incredible and friendly, the kids area is excellent and switches up every few years, and the selection is great with quick prospector request turnaround. The individual study rooms fill up quickly but the process to reserve is intuitive and easy, and the upstairs area has excellent open seating during the day if they're full
This is one of my favorite libraries. Even in Douglas county, which is a great system. Come here on and off to work in between meetings. Good location, beautiful building, lots of study rooms. And the staff has always been the best! Shout out to Paul for helping me out today.
Pretty nice place. It’s smaller than the Parker and Castle Rock libraries but it has a lot of seating within and without. I love the green little rocking chairs. Came to a meetup here in one of the conference rooms. At times it was a little noisy even with the sliding door closed but I think the small size might actually encourage the folks with the noisy kiddos to stick around less.
I’ve been coming to Douglas County Libraries for a long time, and every visit has been a great experience. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and genuinely care about the people who come in. The building is clean, comfortable, and welcoming, with plenty of quiet spaces to read or study, as well as areas where you can relax. I especially appreciate how well-organized everything is, how easy it is to find what I’m looking for, and the wide selection of books, movies, and resources. The library offers more than just materials — there are programs, technology, and events that really make it feel like a community hub. It’s one of my favorite places to spend time, and I’m grateful to have such a well-run library in the area. Highly recommended!
It’s a clean and organized library. However, the noise is SO bad. Adults and kids are both loud. It feels like a playground and sounds like the mall. The private study rooms you can rent are not enough to drown out the noise.
