Doug Sauls BBQ and Seafood

What a great place! Had pulled pork sandwich, fish sandwich, Brunswick stew, banana pudding; all absolutely delicious! Very friendly folks, food fast and hot. Some of the best Brunswick stew ever! Got pulled pork to go, but it was just the pulled pork, no slaw or sauce and not great. I’ll take it home and slaw and sauce it. Will absolutely return!!

The place needs to be torn down and rebuilt larger you can hardly walk through it's so tight. The atmosphere is humbug. I would never take a soul there. In fact I'm not going BK until there's some kind of a refurbished look. To much money also . I got a half pint of greens and a wing and a drink. That's, 8.00 right there. Hush puppies were good.

Pork BBQ was very good ENC style chopped pork. The slaw was slightly sweet with a hint of vinegar. All their vegetables are vegetarian friendly. I love the round hushpuppies. It's an older building in need of some upgrades. We will be back and also recommend Doug Sauls BBQ to others.

This is the best vinegar BBQ i’ve ever tasted. The hush puppies are great, the green beans are great, the coleslaw is great, the fried chicken dipped in the vinegar barbecue sauce is great, the pork is great and the only thing that isn’t great we don’t know cause we didn’t try it. This is worth pulling off the highway and stopping in for a nice lunch. And the people that work here are as sweet as the tea.

The food was good, and the staff was very friendly, but the place had a sanitation score of 80 or "B". It needs a deep cleaning!
