The service can be very sketchy here. A few waitresses are excellent, others are off-hand, abrupt & inattentive. It's a gamble. A lunch special was worth going for. I had a monster Buffalo chicken tenders salad. It was loaded with long strips of freshly roasted chicken bathed in a Buffalo coating. The zing was mild, but cumulative. My wife had the Tuna Salad-Stuffed Tomato. We started with the lentil soup. Hearty & tasty. She had a cup. I upgraded to a bowl. It was tasty & filling. On Wednesday, the lunch special was peppered steak. A hearty meal with large segments of seared steak mixed with peppers & mushrooms in a rich sauce, over a large bed of rice. On a Friday, the Steak Stew special or the Rockfish sounded good, but I went for the Chicken & Avocado wrap [see the photo]. It's tasty &

We went to Double T on a Wednesday at 5 o’clock. Not very many patrons were in the restaurant and we would shortly find out why. The kitchen staff failed to make the grade. I ordered the cheeseburger sliders(3), and the onion ring tower. The cheeseburger sliders were precooked, very dry, with a small piece of cheese that was not melted. No garnish, no pickle, just 3 lonely dry sliders on a large plate. The onion ring tower was a flat blob of overcooked, burnt breaded grease. The cook just breaded the onion rings and dropped them all in dirty grease at the same time, therefore they all stuck together. It was not a tower. Maybe the kitchen staff doesn’t know what a tower is. Lack of training. My wife and sister in law ordered eggs over medium with bacon. Under no circumstances would I think

Food was excellent, the chocolate chip pancakes were the best kind of pancakes I've EVER had and chocolate mousse was really tasty and this is a really good brunch place to come to

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding an experience I had at your Nottingham location today on New Year’s Day. I have been a loyal customer of this diner since the COVID period, and it has consistently been my preferred location until this incident. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled left me feeling embarrassed, disrespected, and undervalued as a long-standing patron. Earlier today, my mother—who’s ill with the flu—placed a phone order around noon for breakfast that I intended to pick up, pay for, and deliver to her before heading to work. When I arrived approximately 30 minutes later, I was informed that there was no order under either my name or my mother’s.
