Customer Reviews
Eating here was not on our radar. However, after arriving 90 minutes late to New Orleans (no thanks to American Airlines), then waiting 2 1/2 hours for our rental car (avoid Budget Car Rental at MSY, they are incompetent), we were starving and couldn’t wait until our final destination to get dinner. We found Dots on Google Maps, and arrived after a 5 minute drive from the airport. Finally, the first GOOD THING that happened on this trip! This place specializes in feeding locals, the number of apparent regular diners was impressive for a Thursday night. Staff was extremely friendly, the service was FAST, and the food was fresh, hot, and outstanding! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
We love Dot’s!!! The service was awesome! We felt at home. I love that we could get breakfast and dinner together at 10:30pm fresh. No reheated frozen food here. Want it a little different than the menu? No problem, because they actually cook it when you order. This place lives up to the commercials. Can’t wait to go back!
Dot's has a very friendly, fun staff and excellent food! We both had the Shrimp Po Boy and it was flavorful and delicious! We super enjoyed our dinner there as visitors from Virginia.
This was an awesome place we stopped at to grab a bite before we went to the airport. Friendly customer service, good food, and listen to the recommendations the waiter/waitresses gives you. I got the seafood omelet (Amazing) that came with hasbrowns or grits (I got the grits) and toast or biscuit ( I got the biscuit). It was really filling and worth it. I also got the cheese fries, but had to add some ketchup for a little more sodium. All in all, hard working team that works well together from a customer's perspective.
Very cute 50's diner. Seating options of booths, tables, and classic bar stools. I tried the daily special which was a meat ball sandwich but I elected for hash browns. Great atmosphere. Temp was a little warm sitting in the booths across from the flat top grill. Food was excellent and well seasoned... The bread was very good too. Hash browns were perfectly cooked.
