Dos Loco Gringos

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for the first time, and I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with exceptional hospitality. The staff were knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their menu offerings, recommending some truly exceptional dishes. The food was outstanding - each bite was a delight to savor. I am thrilled to have discovered this gem and look forward to returning soon. Highly recommended!

I thought the street tacos were pretty tasty, but my wife's burrito tasted a bit like metal or sour. Maybe the meat wasn't seasoned well, or was in old grease. The street tacos were good, and the house margaritas were sneak up on you good. The place is relatively large, and convenient to the hotel, we walked so we could have a white Russian and margaritas. Overall, the service was good, and the food was filling. Try the street tacos... They hit the spot, and had good portions.

I ordered a Pollo Laredo plate to go a bit before closing time. When I walked in, I was greeted with smiles and asked if I was going to dine in. I said no, I had placed an order to go. Everyone was extremely polite during my checkout. I also received a small gift from an employee that put a smile on my face and will probably keep me smiling the rest of the week. They had little baby Jesus figurines that I thought were for sale, but I was told they were to be given out. I’m always happy to see restaurants that have their hearts set on the Lord. I can’t wait to come by again.

Food tasted like being microwave several times, I ordered the chicken/ steak salad. Steak tasted like dodo. My husband has the beef burrito. It tasted like left over ground beef that’s been sautéed over and over again. Chips tasted like the one you can buy from grocery store. That’s on sale!! Our server informed the manager on duty. He stop by with an re active attitude and informed us that no one ever complain about their food. Very un professional. We are in town just for a day but definitely will not suggest to eat at this place.

I"ll start with their salsa that comes with the chips, it was excellent! Their recipe should never under any circumstance be changed. That being said, I ordered the Tacos Mexicano because the ingredients listed "seasoned" ground beef. The seasoning is sugar. Just sugar. Pretty nasty combination. The service was good, so I may try something else on the menu if I'm in the area again.
