Thank you to Angela and team for creating such a magnificent cake for my father’s 90th birthday celebration. Not only was the cake stunning, but so delicious. The themed cookies came out perfect and were such a hit! Dortoni continues to be our go to for all our special occasions.

3 stars for the good experiences over the years - but for the last year we tried many times and were disappointed many times. - On a good day, the rye bread always has a giant hole in the middle. It’s a problem with the proofing process that went on for months. We bought it anyway because there wasn’t another fresh rye in town. -Ordered a cake for a family function and came in my dress, morning of the service to pick it up, and it was melted and dripping. Wrong food color was used for the text and then it was fridge stored too long and it dripped like syrup down the cake. They told me they couldn’t process a refund because no manager was in. I picked a display cake - not that I had another option by then. So I went back to process the refund- they charged me in full for the display cake

Angela was attentive, kind, easygoing, and just so easy to connect with. Poor customer service & over charges customers. I ordered 2 custom cakes last month. One 8 inch other one 10in - same flavors, same design (light purple rosettes with glitter) & happy birthday ON the board. The 8 in cake was 45$, the 10 in cake was $125. Almost 3x the price for 2 more inches (base cake is 65$ for that size). When I inquired as to why the larger cake is sooo much more the manager refused to call/speak with me. I called 3 times. Instead she just has the girls at the front relay the message that rosettes are 60$ - are you kidding? For buttercream. That’s almost the same price as the base cake for frosting which is a simple design. We have ordered & bought many cakes from them for every birthday - including our wedding cake- and this is the last time we will get anything

Dortoni bakery is always my 1st choice for all things dessert !! Angela has always been so helpful and creative to work with on all my special occasion cakes ! From the time you meet Angela you know you are in great hands ! The ease of someone just understanding your vision is truly something that makes this bakery stand out ! Angela was there with me from start to finish for all cake needs ! This bakery does an amazing job with design . They nail ever time the theme of my cakes! I am simply amazed when the final Product comes out ! Please do yourself a favor run not walk to this bakery !! Ask for Angela and her team !! You can thank me later !!!
