One of the best places for lobster rolls and clam chowder in Maine and we’ve been to a lot of the famous shops! Their lobster rolls are so fresh - they have live lobsters in the shop for you to see. The bread has the perfect buttery crunch and softness in the center. We also tried the half and half roll, which is half lobster and half crab, and heartily recommend it! Their clam chowder is also amazing - not too salty, very generous portions of clams, and a perfect blend of creaminess. We loved it so much, we went right back to get second helpings. The staff are very friendly and patient as well. Do yourself a favor and come check it out!

Great place to stop and enjoy a lobster roll. Lobster 🦞 is sold at market price. It was a little expensive but we enjoyed the heck out of it. No indoor seating so we ate in our car.

Dorr Lobster Seafood Market has become *that* one particular landmark welcoming me back to Acadia National Park. Seeing it in the distance fills me with an overwhelming sense of excitement as it meant returning to one of my favorite hiking spots in New England (so far) and beginning a weeklong binge on Maine’s freshest seafood. I absolutely love this tiny and unassuming (from the outside) seafood market and couldn’t wait to be back again this year. Last year, it was the first stop to pick up ingredients for my weeklong visit to Acadia National Park. This year, after a whole year of telling anyone and everyone I knew visiting Acadia, it was once again my first stop after I started driving from Boston. Loaded Lobster Roll - check. What a wonderful surprise. We stopped for lobster rolls for a picnic at Bar Harbor. We weren’t expecting much, just a quick lunch - 4 hours later, we had one of the best lobster rolls of the trip!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We visited this place during our trip to Maine with a big family group (about 16 people), and it was an amazing experience! I bought around 20 live lobsters at a great price ($10.99 lb), and they packed them perfectly for our trip back to New York. The owner was super friendly and even let us enjoy our own food in their nice outdoor seating area. Great service, fresh seafood, and a genuinely nice person running the place. Highly recommend supporting this spot—one of the best places for lobster and seafood in Maine!
