Doppio Zero San Carlos

Beautiful inside and out — this is the kind of place that works for everything from a casual brunch to a fancy romantic dinner. Definitely a spot you can dress up for if you want to. The space is huge, with plenty of indoor seating and a large, dog-friendly outdoor patio. Their squid ink pasta seems to be a favorite here, and I’d definitely recommend giving it a try. I also loved that they offer a nice variety of mocktails for non-alcoholic folks like me. And yes — everything here is super Instagrammable, which is always a bonus. Overall, it’s one of those “can’t go wrong” spots in San Carlos — perfect for all-day meals or even just as a meeting place. I’ll be back for late afternoon small bites next time I’m in the area. We had a great dinner at Doppio Zero in San Carlos. The ambience is warm and lively, and the service was excellent — prompt, courteous, and very attentive. We started with the burrata appetizer, which was fresh and flavorful. For mains, we tried the pizza, octopus, lamb chops, and fettuccine. Everything was well-prepared and delicious; the lamb could’ve used a bit more flavor, but overall the meal was excellent. A solid spot for a relaxed yet upscale dinner — we’ll definitely be back!

We had dinner at Doppio Zero, ordering the pasta with short rib and a classic Doppio Zero pizza. A solid choice for reliable Italian food. Portions were satisfying, and the pricing felt reasonable for the flavor and experience.

So grateful for plant-based options! They have a vegan pizza, vegan ravioli, and for starters we had grilled artichoke with balsamic reduction! The happy hour thingy was on every table but our server was trying to tell that it’s not on Sundays even though it was written on the thingy on the table, and then that it’s only for certain tables, but why the thingy was on every table then, weird. Otherwise, it’s a cute a cozy spot, pizza was great and they have spicy sauce/oil available upon request. Ravioli’s filling was so-so but the artichoke was delicious.

Delicious flavorful food and mocktails. We enjoyed the vegan gluten free ravioli, the gnocchi and a pizza! All the meals were delicious!
