Donutland

I was blown away by the absolutely exceptional experience and amazing customer service by Kai today! I had never been to Donutland until today and I was pleasantly surprised by the huge selection. Delicious!

Hi I’ve tried to call the store to let some one know that since this location has opened I have gotten the apple fritters 5 different times including today and they are always raw in the middle which is always sad:(

Front desk is super polite. A few times I have stopped it it seams like they are understaffed. Only one person working the front desk and drive thru. Makes for a longer than needed wait time and seems to add undue stress to employees. Overall love the food and employee have been polite.

We stopped here as we're kind of donuts knobs and thought we would give them a shot with their cake Donuts. They are good there is no question about that I would give them five stars if they had a bit more frosting on their donuts. We were the first customer of the day right when they opened up and the donuts were fresh and light and fluffy like we like them. You pay a little bit more but that's how everything is these days. The rose was amazing. Wouldn't get the fritter again...just tasted like burnt oil.

I had seen Donutland in Urbandale coming along as I passed by doing Target deliveries. They recently opened and I stopped by on a Wednesday morning around 5:45AM to pick up some donuts for my coworkers at the Recycling Facility in Grimes. The interior is very clean and has a 70s color scheme. The lady at the front counter was friendly and chatted with me briefly. She said they'd been open about a week and had made 1500 donuts the day before. I ordered two of the "Big 15" which cost around $40.00. They had enough variety to load up two of each donut. I had a Dutch Crumb and it was light and fluffy with great texture and flavor. The other 29 donuts were all gone by the time I came in for my 9:00AM morning break. I will be back again to try some other flavors for myself!
