Donut Drop

Pleasantly surprised by our visit here. Went on a whim when other plans fell through. The staff were so friendly and kind. Our donuts were phenomenal, and my cold brew was fantastic. Nice clean environment. Family friendly options and seating. Highly recommend them!

It’s National Donut Day, and I was passing Donut Drop on my way to the south suburbs. I had a hard time choosing what to take home to share, but I made some good selections. The maple bacon was so delicious—sweet and savory. The cold brew was refreshing.

Unique flavor and texture - very unique . Wonderful selection . Great classic atmosphere . A must visit in suburbs .

Yummy donuts! We walked in way past breakfast and normal donut time but there was still a great selection available. We're from Michigan visiting family but this is such a great little donut shop! Super fresh, tastes like a childhood fair style donut. Would come here again.

I had my first donut from Donut Drop today and I will be back. The apple fritter is my spirit donut: if you like your fritter as tall as a cumulus cloud, this one isn't for you, but if you like it like I do —thin and crispy with a soft center — you will love. My only recommendation is a little bit more spice, or maybe add some to that glaze, and 10% more apple. Also, as a coconut lover, I really dig the texture of their toasted coconut donut. It is tender and fluffy (but it actually has substance, not a melt away in your mouth "where's my donut" hijinx) and the crumb is amazing. If it had just a little more punchy coconut flavor, or a little bit of coconut cream piped in the donut hole, I'd be smitten. I can't wait to try the coconut ube next time.
