Don's Place

This is my favorite stop between Springfield, Missouri, and Ironton, Missouri. They have clean restrooms, great food, and the workers and owner are always so pleasant and helpful! Their chicken livers are the BEST!

Since the new ownership the food doesn’t seem as good and is more expensive seeming. I do disagree with most the reviews on the staff though, the younger workers do a great job giving you good portioned amounts and make it taste so good! One younger girl in there named Kaylee was very nice and made the best wrap I have gotten from there. Dylan (i think) also makes excellent wraps.

Found this place looking for a restroom, and OMG so glad we did. There food is amazing. Hot, large portions, and inexpensive!!!!!

Best gas station around. Recently updated and they now sell beer. In a small town like this it's hard to find a welcoming travel center and that's more of what it is rather than just a gas station. You can get hot food, snacks, beer and gas. Everyone is friendly and it is completely safe. It is not just one of those local places that make outsiders feel uncomfortable. I seen a mix of locals and travelers
