Don's NY Pizza

The guys hit a home run every time. I can vouch that their calzones are a work of art. I've taken my family here for years. Today's pizza was 10/10. Perfect dough spring and rise throughout. Consistent slap/ no thin center. Toppings to the edge. Freshly sliced sausage. Fresh mushrooms. Great pepperoni. Generous portions and evenly topped. Salad was very fresh and tasty too.

This location has the best pizza this side of the valley!! They're New Yorkers and use real cheese which is a key to any pizza item. Price is reasonable and the service is mediocre. I definitely recommend them for some delicious food. If you want to order by the slice know the pizza is not freshly made. I ordered the veggie calzone which was delicious and fairly priced.

Don’s is the kind of pizza shop that every neighborhood needs. It’s decently fast, its quality, and you know it’s gonna be the same guy slinging sauces and placing pepperonis. For my very first visit to Don’s, I just had to get the New York Supreme. There’s something special about the sauce, amigos. If it’s not house-made sauce, I’d be shocked; it’s really good stuff. And combined with a thoughtful array of fresh vegetables and meats, it’s my favorite supreme pizza I’ve had anywhere. Today would’ve been perfect if the crust had a little more support underneath. The edge of the crust was perfect, but the bottom of the pie was just a little soft. This is the best spot in this part of town. We love to get whole pies here and I regularly get their lunch special. Really can’t beat the price.

If a customer comes in and orders 2- well done cheese pizzas at the counter, and is waiting at the location for their pizza, that doesn’t mean stick it in the oven for 8 minutes and tell me my order is ready. Then when I ask you, is it well done? He says yeah anymore it’s gonna be burnt. I said I like burnt/bubbles/well done! I should’ve listened to my gut when I looked at it after opening the box because it’s far from well done! Do better ! Aggravating !
