Some friends brought us to dinner here. It was an amazing experience. The food was incredible & the service was great also. We had pork dumplings & shrimp shumae for appetizers. For dinner we had the marinated chicken & the ribeye. Both meats were delicious. The chicken literally melted in your mouth.
If you’re craving Korean BBQ in the city, this spot is a must. The Prime Marinated Beef Platter was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly at the tabletop grill. We also loved the crispy kimchi pajeon, the kkaenip bulgogi, and the comforting kimchi jjigae. The house-infused lychee soju was a standout. They’re also running a promo free Korean stew with any beef platter which makes the experience even better.
Well known kbbq spot near ktown offering pricey, but delicious marinated meats, casseroles and more. Started with half a dozen banchan, there is a variety of meat set options for the table to choose from or a la carte. The items are cooked by staff so the usual designated kbbq chef can relax and eat😆. Seating is a bit cramped, and can be an issue for people with accessibility problems. Blue handball is used to hold the burner controls, very random.
At Nubiani (half a block away) you eat better, for less money, and they even give you a free dessert. The platter came without the usual Korean stew and egg, and on top of that they didn’t bring the rice, which was the only thing that was actually included in the platter besides the side dishes — we had to ask for it halfway through dinner. Once you’re done eating, they completely forget about you — good luck trying to get the check. To make matters worse, a 25% tip is automatically added and you’re not allowed to change it. The meat itself is good, but I’d recommend going somewhere else where you get more (and better) food for the same price.
Perfect place for lunch in Ktown, highly recommend the grilled salted mackerel, beef ribs soup and chicken stew. They also offer different banchan each time. The space has slightly dim lighting with a small bar area. The meat quality is good and portions are generous.
