Saw DonnaSue Bakes on Atlas Obscura and knew we needed to stop as we passed through. Sadly it was closed, but DonnaSue’s husband just happened to be in the yard when we pulled up. He invited us in and still sold us a blueberry pie and some amazing carrot Whoopi’s pies and maple scones. They are the sweetest people, made our day!!

The most fantastically delectable cookies I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. Their carrot cake sandwich cookies are divine. They remind me of a specific hostess cookie, which I can't remember which, but it's what that hostess cookie tries and fails to be. The flavor is so familiar. The cookies have perfect crisp to the finely shredded carrot. They're not too sweet. The creamy center is well balanced between the two moist cookies. Grade A. Highly recommend.

Stopped here on a motorcycle trip for some chocolate chip cookies. The food was great and the atmosphere was even better. Donna was extremely polite and genuine. She even offered me some water cause I’m sure she know riding a motorcycle for a while is actually physically strenuous and you get thirsty. Thank you Donna Sue for your hospitality and kindness.
