Donna's Big John's Diner

What an absolute treat I found while killing time in my trip from St Cloud to Wadena. The omelet was gigantic and great and the owner/cook was an absolute hoot and the highlight. One of the more fun meals I can recall in a long time. If you are driving along Highway 10 past St Cloud, try it!!!

Mom aunt and i came upon this amazing place on accident. After reading these comments i am assuming that the great woman we met this morning (12/15/25) was thee donna. She was absolutely amazing. I personally thought she was great. I wish i lived closer, i would go in more often. Thank you again donna. Stay blessed and merry christmas

What a delight visiting this place today. We were served two of the best hamburgers and fries that we have had in a very long time. Donna takes great pride in her hamburgers, and you know it from the first bite. Donna loves to cut up with her customers, and everyone is subject to some gentle ribbing. So, go in and enjoy the conversations and food.

Relocating to the area, seen this little mom and pop diner and knew we had to stop and try it! Met Donna herself, what a joy talking to her. The food was amazing as I suspected it would be. Serving sizes were also great. Prices are affordable as well. This will easily become my favorite spot to eat.

Impressive that one woman runs this entire place! She was patient with my kiddos and fun conversation with her and the locals. Prices are very affordable. Fountain pop with root beer and wild Cherry Pepsi, mountain dew, and more. Breakfast served all day and a pretty lengthy menu for a small diner. Onsite free parking just off of Highway 10.
