Authentic Japanese food? This is the place to go. Good prices, good amount, best taste. We tasted beef curry, tonkatsu, pork tonkatsu ramen, a5 wagyu etc. The A5 wagyu was so soft it was melting in my mouth. The tonkatsu ramen warmed our bodies since it is so cold winter and have a fair amount of toppings. Beef curry, beef was soft and flavorful. We also had taiyaki with matcha ice cream and mochi ice cream. Giving 4 stars because of the mochi ice cream but all in all everything is good. Mochi ice cream tasted expired and we didn't eat it. It was the lychee Mochi ice cream but the passion fruit Mochi ice cream and the other Mochi ice cream that I forgot the flavor they are okay but doesn't taste fresh. The katsu curry (any protein) is delicious 🌸💕 I have ordered many times and am never disappointed with the food. Japanese curry is divine! I am so used to the Caribbean method that I never knew sweet curry would taste so good. The chicken katsu curry is now my favorite all time dish. Dinner plates portions are large enough to share with another. Everything carefully plated and wrapped for delivery. Located in Pike and rose shopping area where the farmers market side.

Virtual restaurant located in Kusshi! Absolutely delicious. Got the gyudon and pork katsu curry and loved them both, especially the gyudon.

I am so disgusted , I found a roach (see pics) at the bottom of the bowl of food. I would never order food from this place again!

My first visit to Kusshi. I have known the manager John for many years. Superb service, great drinks, superb saki selection as well as wines and spirits from a knowledgeable Josh behind the bar, excellent miso soup (the mark of distinction), first rate sushi (the Chesapeake roll is excellent), and good atmosphere. The wait staff is impressive, very clientele oriented. Very much worth a visit at a restaurant that remembers both the classics and innovation in Asian fusion. Fun time.
