Don Trompo Taquería

I went because I saw this place on a social media post and it definitely lived up to the hype. Granted, I went on a Thursday at 3 pm which is a slow time to go, but I have to say, the food was great! Got a Taco al Pastor and a Tacazo with arrachera. The portion was very good and the meat flavor was delicious. I had to accompany it with a classic Jarritos soft drink for the authentic Mexican taste. Definitely worth the trip and will surely go back soon with the family!

Food was very good, atmosphere was very warm/welcoming and with the perfect music playing. We got there towards the end of the day and got the last of the Al pastor, just wished the food would be been a bit warmer.

We sat down and they brought chips but forgot to bring the salsa. We ordered a coke and a sprite and they took almost 15 minutes to bring them to our table. My order came ok but they forgot to bring the second order. All this with two servers and 5 tables. Very poor service.

Me and my family saw this place on TikTok, so we decided to come eat here and it was soo delicious! I got the quesabirrias and they were the best ones I have ever had . The corn in a cup was delicious as well! My parents had carne asada tacazo and they loved it. The service was excellent as well! We will definitely come back! ♥️

Ate at Don Trompo last night and let me tell you—this place understands borders better than certain former presidents. The flavors here are open, welcoming, and actually work together. No unnecessary walls between the salsa, the al pastor, and the tortillas—just pure, delicious cooperation. The trompo spins with more grace and dignity than a Trump press conference, and unlike some orange figures I could name, it actually delivers on its promises. The tacos were bold, spicy, and satisfying without yelling about how “tremendous” they are every five seconds. Service was fast, friendly, and refreshingly honest. Nobody blamed Mexico for my empty plate—it was clearly my own fault for ordering seconds (and thirds). Prices are fair, portions are generous, and no one tried to sell me a red hat at
