Don Sarang Original Korean BBQ (돈사랑)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ (4.5/5) First time trying Don Sarang Original Korean BBQ and definitely worth the 45-minute drive. I love Korean BBQ, and this spot delivered. The meats were fresh, flavorful, and high quality. What really stood out was the service—our waiter actually cooked everything for us and made the whole experience even better (wish I remembered his name, he crushed it). There are plenty of food options, so whether you know exactly what you want or like to try a bit of everything, you’re covered. Only minor hiccup: when we walked in, the restaurant was basically empty and there was some confusion about where to seat us. I love the atmosphere of this restaurant. It was not too loud or quiet. The service was a little slow for us, but we were not rushed to finish the meal. So that was a plus. The combo came with fried rice and ramen. Even though we were so full, having a ramen after the drink was so satisfying. I don’t recommend to bring a coat to the restaurant because your coat will smell like BBQ.

Tae was welcoming right as we sat down. His smile was infectious! Super friendly. He double checked our order before sending it through. The atmosphere was pretty, clean, and inviting. There were a lot of older Korean customers which leds up to think the food is top Korean quality. We later found out that it lived up to the standards! Would recommend! Come try they just opened.

New KBBQ that follows the style of cast iron pot lid kbbq (Sot-ddukkung (솥뚜껑) barbecue) The food quality here is amazing and easily puts it in the top of the current vast ocean of kbbq offerings in carrolton. I personally loooove this style of kbbq because one of its defining features is grilling kimchi and bean sprouts directly on the grill, which compliments EVERYTHING but ESPECIALLY Pork cuts The pork Jowl here is very high quality, and the service was incredible (shout out to Andy!) One thing I wish they offered was lettuce wraps. They can charge of lettuce wraps but this would go so well with it. 10/10 will be coming back

Novel experience to eat off a traditional cast iron grill! The food was delicious! Our server was new so our meat got burnt but they replaced it without us needing to ask! Amazing service! The set menu comes with kimchi fried rice and ramen at the end 😍.
