Don Pollo of Potomac

The food is great. They have a medium size menu with plenty of good quality food to choose from. After you order you can choose your seat and after they call your number you go get it. They did have some TVs showing football (soccer). It’s a little loud ig busy but it’s easy to hear and speak.

We love Don Pollo for its delicious chicken and side dishes and the great value it offers. Considering that the prices are comparable to fast food, this is home-cooked Peruvian chicken fresh off the grill with enticing spices. We love the rice and beans side orders, along with the plantains. This is one of our go-to places for a quick dinner or takeaway and we love it!

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Had to have the iconic Peruvian chicken on the rotisserie. The good scent wafting as one walks in. We also had their version of seafood fried rice. Would definitely return for rhe chicken.

Ordered standard quarte chicken meal. Chicken seasoning was more savory and complex than other Peruvian chicken places. Cole slaw was cold, crisp and not too much mayo. Green sauce very good, the other sauce lacked flavor. Fast service. Really cool wooden tables and seating.

Insanely good ! I love the chicken, it has been consistently good the last 10 years. The sauces are also amazing. I could eat the green sauce with anything. I think the sides are great too, especially rice and beans, plantain and yucca. My only feedback, which you can see in the photo, is it’s not clear why the “Fiesta” meals are actually more expensive than buying separately. Sides cost £4.75 individually (not pictured). I wish I understood that, because why should someone get the fiesta meal?
