Don Pedros Pupuseria y Taqueria

This review is based solely on the tacos. I was in the mood for tacos and decided to try Don Pedro’s since it was nearby. Unfortunately, they were just okay—nothing special. I probably should have gone with the pupusas instead, so I’ll be back to give them a try. On the bright side, the service was great, and the restaurant looked clean.

A fun atmosphere, there were several families dining in on a Wednesday. Such good food. I got the fried fish, absolutely fantastic! Nice waiter and great food. Fair pricing paid 16 for the fried fish. There are slot machines and a stage. Seems like this would be a good stop for a weekend night! The only reason I give four stars is because the rice tasted like rice-a-roni. Such good beans and fish tho Would visit again. Thank you for the great food & service

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. We placed an order online directly through their system and were charged, but never received a confirmation. When we went into the restaurant, the woman at the counter insisted there was no order and claimed we never paid, even after we showed her the charge on our personal device. Instead of helping, she became rude, defensive, and disrespectful. She falsely accused us of ordering through a third party website and then began loudly talking badly about us to other customers while rolling her eyes. It was humiliating and completely unprofessional. The situation escalated to the point that we called the owner, expecting accountability or a solution. Unfortunately, the owner showed absolutely no concern, took no responsibilit

We came here on a whim while camping at Cedar Hill State Park. Easily some of the best pupusas I've had. I was surprised to see loroco pupsas on the menu...loroco is a delicious succulent flower that you rarely run across in this part of the world. We also had the flautas, which were extra crispy, and stuffed with gooey cheese and chicken. Again, some of the best I've had anywhere. Service is almost entirely in Spanish, but you can get by with pointing if you don't speak any Spanish. This space doubles as a nightclub, and at noon on a Wednesday, the music was so thumping that we had a hard time communicating with the servers. That part was a little bit weird, but other than that, this was a really surprisingly fantastic hole in the wall.

I have eaten at several places throughout Dallas, and I will say this is the best. I had the pumpusas, and there are several flavors to choose from, They also had great music/videos on the TV's witch make you want to get up and dance.
