Don Chuy's Tako

I recently moved to Westchester County and hadn’t found a taco spot that really hit the spot for me until now. 10/10, recommend! So flavorful and absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be back to try more 😋

When we looked up "best quesadilla in Westchester" and Don Chuy's showed up, we took the 10 mile drive to find out. This casual eat-in establishment served up plate-licking good Mexican street foods. The Tako bowl with shrimp was prepared with fresh spring mix [romaine, spinach, arugula] quartered tomatoes, roasted corn and bean mix, and that perfectly seasoned warm shrimp - of which they were Not skimpy with the shrimp. The Tako bowl itself was warm, flakly and crispy. My partner had the steak quesadilla with a side of warm Mexican street corn, and sweet, firm maduros. The churros were warm and crispy to the bite with a soft doughy inside. The chocolate syrup and vanilla ice cream complement them perfectly. Overall, it was a 5-finger licking good experience. First time eating here and the food was excellent! Had the steak tacos plate. They came with rice and beans and a salsa on the side. Everything was delicious and the portions are great! No skimping on the meat! We also had the guacamole which was perfect! The staff was very friendly and helpful! Can’t wait to go back!

The food is great. The service is awesome. The staff friendly. The restaurant is nice and clean. We tried the Carne Asada the steak tacos with the rice and beans and chips with guacamole. The tacos came with a tomatillo sauce. That was excellent. The tacos were packed meat and topped with pico de gallo again everything was excellent. We ended up bringing home some pico and chips.

The food was absolutely delicious! The Birria Tacos were full of flavor and juicy! The fresh chips with guac and salsa was so good! A lot of options and really good prices. The horchata was delicious and refreshing. Staff is super friendly and attentive. The space is clean and organized. The take out line was busy and I totally get it, the food is great! Good quality and great flavor! Highly Recommended!! 10/10
