Doma Seolleongtang - Carrollton, 도마 설렁탕 캐럴턴

Delicious as always. Doma has been my favorite spot for Korean soup for a while, especially with their #8 soup on the menu, beef baby back ribs with dried cabbage. The service and banchan were great and the broth has a deep umami flavor, with tender but not overcooked ribs. I personally prefer the soups with dried cabbage over the ones without it. The slightly pickled flavor from dried cabbage brought a lot of depth to the flavor of the broth. The restaurant was spacious with new interior design and great lighting. I would definitely recommend it to everyone and come back when I can.

Restaurant was very clean and a nice atmosphere. However, I visited this past Sunday and I got Galbitang. I’ve had galbitang at many, many places and the flavor in the bowl was odd. I’m not sure if it was an off day but there was way too much MSG or dashida. Wife and I are from Korea so we frequently eat Korean food. She got another soup, which she enjoyed. Will come back but will probably order something else.

Doma Seolleongtang (도마 설렁탕) is the gold standard for Korean comfort food in Carrollton. The Ox Bone Soup (Seolleongtang) is incredibly rich and clean, and their Kkakdugi (radish kimchi) is easily some of the best in town. Service is lightning-fast, and that complimentary yogurt drink at the end is the perfect touch. Hands down the best spot for a soul-warming meal! 🥣🇰🇷✨

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely delicious and comforting! Doma Seollongtang is an authentic Korean comfort food. Their seollongtang (ox bone soup) is perfectly rich, milky, and flavorful — you can really taste that it’s been simmered for hours. The beef is tender, and the noodles are cooked just right. I love that you can season it to your liking with salt, green onions, and chili paste — just like in Korea! The side dishes are fresh and well-balanced, especially the kimchi which pairs perfectly with the soup. The owner is also super friendly and attentive, making the whole dining experience feel welcoming and relaxed. If you’re looking for a hearty, satisfying meal that warms you from the inside out, Doma Seollongtang is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend!

My family and I always went to the Dallas location and enjoyed the food, we were so happy to find out that there is now one here in Carrollton! My mom and I had our doubts since second locations are usually a bit lacking, but this place is just as good as the first location if not better! We thoroughly enjoyed the food, and the owner was very friendly and attentive. I will be coming here more often for sure! :)
