I’m on my way to the car after finishing one review, & I saw this Gelati spot! I figured…why not! I found out that shop owner Chef Gianluigi Dellaccio is Italy’s Gelato Ambassador!! Their Award Winning Honey Mascarpone Fig Gelato, & Sicilian Pistachio ($7.90 Large Cup). Smooth, rich, & fragrant honey mascarpone gelato!! A sweet almost floral pistachio gelato! STAMP!! Their Dark Chocolate Gelato, & Caramel Banana with Pecan Praline ($6.90 Small Cup). Intense super smooth dark chocolate gelato that paired perfectly with that caramel banana gelato!! STAMP!! This place just blew us away! Each flavor tastes just like described. Flavors are powerful and absolutely delicious. Direct quote from someone in the shop: “sounds of pleasure in every bite!” And they let you sample the flavors as much as you want. Our favorites were the vegan dark chocolate, green tea, banana Nutella, espresso, and mojito.

Ordered the cookies and cream oat milk ice cream here because issues. It was OK, but the flavor and texture could be better tweaked. Great service and nice atmosphere though.

This place was AWESOMELY Amazing, the service was great and there are so many flavors to choose from, they have some REALLY unique flavors!! My new go-to Ice cream place！

This is one of the few places in DC that does truly amazing sorbet. There are other good spots in the city, but this one has a few big advantages: it’s closer to me than most of them, and they’re super generous with the free samples (maybe more than they should be). At other places, I’ll try a flavor and think, “Yeah, it’s fine, maybe I’ll get it, maybe I won’t.” Here, every single sorbet I taste, I end up buying. Every time. They just do a great job with flavor and texture. It’s 100% worth coming back to regularly. It’s also the kind of place I don’t always tell my wife I stopped by… but when she sees the receipt and realizes I didn’t bring her home a sorbet, she’s understandably annoyed. That’s how you know it’s good.
