Dolce Scoop Gelato Sayville

I would love to leave a great review because I tried the gelato here once and it was delicious and the store was adorable. However, I have tried three more times to come during said business hours and the shop was closed each time. A small suggestion if you have an unforeseen emergency, communicate with your customers both at the store and online to assure that your customers are not inconvenienced. Side note, while we were there today, other people with their children arrived and were also disappointed by the store being closed when the sign clearly was lit up saying “open.”

Although the gelato is delicious, the business was overrun by teenage boys who were seemingly obsessed with the two teenage girls who were working there. They crowded the store front. We watched several customers hesitate to even go in. We heard them spew expletives multiple times in front of my three year old and newborn sons. For such a great business, it’s evident that the owners should show a greater presence.

This is such a cute place. A great addition to the sayville area. The affogato with hazelnut gelato…Delic! The staff are so kind and patient.

This place has the best pistachio gelato that has ever grazed my tastebuds! These workers are so kind and respectful. Best place ever!
