I live a few blocks away, and I drive by this nondescript building and entrance every day. So imagine my surprise when a friend of mine (who works as a personal chef) recommended this place, saying it was, in his opinion, the best restaurant in northwest Philly. How had I not heard of it? Cut to me and my girlfriend, who went for our anniversary dinner. The whole experience was magical. The host greeted us warmly and checked our coats. The restaurant itself is stunning. The bar is beautiful and lit like you are in a movie. This is a very stylish place. The attention to detail is clear. Great food and excellent service! Do not miss the lamb ribs if I came again I would order multiple, super crispy on the outside yet extremely tender on the inside. Carrot cake is also amazing, and the rad noodles were delicious. Great experience and the restaurant is small and not too loud so easy to have a good conversation over dinner.

From the moment the drinks hit the table, I knew we were in for something special! As someone who had served/bartended at a craft cocktail and wine bar for some time, I can recognize when a mixologist is using impressive technique and thoughtful flavor combinations. These were some of the most inventive and impressive cocktails I’ve ever had. They arrived looking nothing like what we expected, yet somehow delivered *all* of the flavor. Truly the highlight of the evening! The small plates were almost as impressive (the drinks just really blew me away- I’m still thinking about the Oxaca Flacka🤣 ). Easily one of best meals I’ve had in Philadelphia, ever. Big fans of Kalaya and Suraya, and Doho is at that level. Very inventive, delicious fare along with creative cocktails, great ambiance and top notch service. The desserts were also sublime!
