Doggi's Arepa Bar

If you live in Miami, you know there are a million places to get an arepa. But if you want the best arepa, you go to Doggi’s. Specifically, the MiMo location on Biscayne. There is something about this spot—maybe it’s the outdoor seating or just the neighborhood vibe—that feels so much more relaxed and authentic than the other locations. It’s my absolute go-to when I need a meal that feels like a hug. Let’s start with the basics: The Tequeños. You legally cannot come here without ordering them. They aren’t those frozen, sad cheese sticks you get at other places. These are doughy, salty, cheesy perfection. But the real secret weapon is the Green Sauce (cilantro garlic sauce). The reviews are not joking—this place is so good it literally stunned me. Recommend the tequeños and the marinated chicken plate. Everything was so beautiful and came out so fast! It was busy but we got seated quickly. Howard was very sweet and gave excellent recommendations since it was our first time here, he made us feel very welcome.

I come here often because this is the best arepas you can find in Miami. My favorite is Santa Barbara Arepa. Also the chicharron is delicious and fresh. The staff is very friendly and Howard made our visit enjoyable. Thank you.

We loved eating at Doggis while visiting Miami. The service is outstanding, our server Yainelis went above and beyond and made wonderful suggestions to try. The food was incredible, so tasty and authentic. Our coffees made by Kimberlin were also delicious. We can’t wait to come back!
