Dog Tag Bakery

I have been a fan of this bakery for years. As someone with a peanut allergy, it’s so nice to safely enjoy baked goods. Everything I have gotten from Dog Tag has been fantastic. I recently got a custom cake for my birthday and not only was it so delicious, it was absolutely gorgeous! I cannot recommend this bakery enough, whether you have allergies or not! Dog Tag never disappoints!

One of those hidden gems in Georgetown. Great place to sit and relax with a drink and a snack. Clean, quiet and plenty of seating. Great food too. The spicy hot chocolate cookie is spicy but not overly so..just enough to add a little bit of heat. Their brownies are rich and delicious (and they're already cut in half so you can share with a friend). Friendly staff too.

At little pricey, but standard for Georgetown and it’s nice to know that you’re helping a good cause! It has a nice environment, lots of space to sit, delicious pastries and great customer service! Overall, really impressed and will definitely be back!

Very cool spot in Georgetown with a great mission. Plenty of room to sit a ton of different treats to eat. I only had a black coffee which was lovely but I’m not going lie the baked goods looked out of this world

Dog Tag Bakery is a cute bakery and cafe in the heart of Georgetown. They serve baked goods and sandwiches, along with good coffee. The bakery is owned and run by veterans with all proceeds going to support vets. It can be found right between Water Street and the Tow Path. Street parking is available and there’s also Georgetown Parking a block away.
