Dock House

Sometimes we really luck out. We were taking a drive around, no real thought, just headed east I guess from the DC area. We were getting hungry and saw some boats, stopped to take a look and saw the Dock House. We gave a try and were impressed. First, anytime you can have a great lunch on the water in an area you have never been before is a plus. Add on amazing food and service, you are in heaven. My lobster roll reminded me of Maine. My wife's scallops were very good. Add on some of the best bread pudding I have ever had, you are in heaven! The service was friendly, something we really like when traveling. New to the area we enjoyed the food, service and view of the water. We wish we could be closer.

I had a good experience eating here for the first time. There is a choice to sit inside or out. You can still see the waterfront from inside. I was here on a Sunday afternoon so there wasn't a wait for a table and it wasn't too busy. My food was delicious! Real crabmeat and shrimp in my Kent Island sandwich. My waiter, Kendall, was very friendly and was a great guide for some nice options of things to do in the area. I will be returning another time.

Casual, live music until 8pm on a Friday. Had the steak frites asparagus and garlic Parmesan fries. Very tasty. The kids meal was a very healthy serving, we appreciate that! They had some crush flavors I haven't seen before. All n All, worth a visit.

First time here! It was delicious. I had the dock house wrap with a side of mac and cheese. Ate it all. The mac was awesome and the orange crushes 👌

This place is amazing! I ordered the Cobb salad and it did not disappoint at all! Everything was fresh, the bacon was crispy! No limpy, half cooked, pink bacon bits. You get the real thing here. Cooked like you do at home. My waitress was very attentive and friendly and and restaurant was clean and welcoming. Loved my experience. I highly recommend the Dock House. It's worth the drive from Washington DC! 😋
