Doc Watson's Café - Amherst, OH

Doc Watson's Cafe was SO CHARMING!! I loved the hospitality, the small local business feel, and the really tasty smoothie (I got the Blue Majik drink! It was healthy and grainy and exactly what I was craving). Some stuff was not available due to a machine or two that was broken, but I would've been happy with anything on that menu :). I recommend trying this place out!

I was traveling through Amherst and saw this place. Stopped in for Panini and a smoothie, Although it was a bit expensive, everything was very good and freshly made. The girls behind the counter were nice and made all the food fresh. Also sell honey and a few other things. Stop in and give it a try ;)

I can’t say enough good things about Doc Watson’s! I think it’s great that Amherst gets this gem of a hometown market/cafe! Their coffee is delicious and they have about every flavor you could imagine. Their food tastes so fresh & healthy. Everything is priced reasonably for the quality that you’re receiving! Now the staff… they have the sweetest people working for them! It’s such a kind, warm atmosphere as soon as you walk in & the staff are all of the sweetest people! 10/10 all around ☺️

This place has amazing salads. They just moved to a new location(very cute) . The prices are on the high side for a daily lunch. I was very disappointed in the panini. They were delicious at the old location. Now they come on small yucky bread with barely anything on it! (Especially for what you pay) hoping they make a change- willing to pay a higher price if it’s a generous portion like it used to be.

Super cute place! Downtown Amherst. Fresh produce, local, farmers! Love that they are working with local people such as dostal farms, who are awesome as well that’s where all my meat comes from! We tried the smoothie in the overnight oats and are super excited to come back for the avocado toast! Reminds me of a mini super adorable Trader Joe’s With lots of specialty items. I love spices and I got some really good paprika that I can’t wait to try.
