Unfortunately, my experience here was very uncomfortable. The food itself wasn’t the main issue—the atmosphere was. The owner behaved in a very unprofessional way and made several inappropriate remarks while I was there. It created an awkward environment for both customers and employees. During my visit, it was clear that some staff members were uncomfortable, and I heard that a few employees had recently quit because of the way they were being spoken to. A restaurant should feel welcoming and respectful to everyone, especially the staff. Based on what I experienced, that didn’t seem to be the case here. Because of the atmosphere and the owner’s behavior, I won’t be coming back.
I absolutely adore the atmosphere here. I'm from the Ozarks and it brings me home to local greasy spoon diners that adorn that area. The service was excellent & the food delicious. The price point was very reasonable as well. I hope this place flourishes.
Probably the worst new restaurant experience I've had. We were really looking forward to trying it out, but was met with slow but apologetic friendly service. The food was terrible. All of our plates were past a bit overcooked, and did not taste fresh. The condiments were from dollar general. The portions were small and an absolute insult for the price. The smell inside was not that of pancakes or coffee. But raw sewage. It was horrid. They have their friends boosting the business but this place might need the health department on its back to get up to standards. My family won't be back.
Clean, good friendly service, breakfast served all day and reasonably priced. Am happy to see a restaurant open again at that location. Biscuits & Gravy are really good as is everything else I've had on the menu. They hand bread those things that need it, not just dumped into a fryer from a plastic bag like so many places. I'm very suspicious of so called 'customers' who are 100% negative about a place - typically that's a competing business or their cronies. Try it yourself.
Amazing people and really amazing food. Came here for a quick stop and didn’t regret it at all. Definitely recommend.
