Dixon Library

I love my library! the folks here are wonderful. I use the online portal to reserve / order anything that I want to read or see. If they don't have the thing that you want to get they can do an inter-library transfer to get it for you. Occasionally, there is a wait for new or popular books or films, but you can always get on the waiting list and they will email you when it's your turn. It's a great place to checkout new cookbooks. That way I can trial the cookbook, first, to see if I really want to spend the $$$ to acquire my own personal copy. Also, for several years, now, I stopped buying DVDs or going to the cinema. Quiet, clean, nice staff, updated tech when checking out books making it fast to check out multiple books, great selection and a nice park outside for lunch/snacks and or a walk. Parking is easy, in the front of the library.

Small but great. My family friend and I went to this library expecting a bit, but it surpassed our expectations! The people were really nice, the decor and inside was super cute, and it was amazing. The book selection was great, too. We thought we lost all hope without geology books, but lo and behold, we found them. 10/10. Would come again. Note: Bonus points for merging the old library with the new one.

The children’s reading program on Tuesday mornings is great! My grand-daughter mostly likes the songs and being with other kids. My grand-daughter is almost 2 and the librarian is patient with all the kids. After storytime is a craft if people want to stay.

We love this library! The librarians are super nice and they have a large children's book section. The have events and free give aways for children every month (check their events page). My 2yo daughter loves to visit often and has a blast picking out books and coloring at the kids table.
