Dixie Freeze

After visiting the Lodge factory store/museum, we were ready for lunch. Dixie Freeze was nearby and convenient. It isn’t fancy, but the food and service were great. No complaints. If we’re ever in the area again, we will probably eat there again.

We moved here from Colo. This historic place beats dairy queen by a heart beat. Friendly, sweet people, beautiful place to eat. I hope this place never goes away.. and by the way all Tennessee people, we love ya. Beautiful state, green , not expensive like Colo and we love it here!! 😍

The people who work here and the service are amazing. The food is also great. I wasn’t sure about the cranberry sauce being on top of my chicken and dressing, but it was really good. Also, inflation has not hit the Dixie Freeze. For a second I thought the bill for three of us was actually for one person. A must stop for good local food served by great people.

Outstanding small town diner. Packed with locals, always a good sign. Shockingly inexpensive and very generous portions. Very kind and attentive staff, quintessential southern hospitality. Absolutely recommend!

I've been going to Dixie freeze since I was 2 years old best place to eat a good burger in south Pittsburgh And the maintenance attraction is the old style of the building I love how it hasn't been changed
