Diwan Restaurant

How did we get so lucky to get Diwan Restaurant in Manlius and why did it take me so long to try it?! Definitely a new favorite. The food is nothing short of incredible. Everything is so fresh, cooked to perfection and so flavorful. Each item we tried was absolutely delicious. Our server, Gabs, was fantastic and made our experience even better. This is probably the best Middle Eastern food anywhere. We ended our night with Turkish coffee and baklava. Yum!

I came to Diwan with my girlfriend, and the food was fantastic. The service was excellent and you can tell that everything is cooked with love and with the best ingredients. We each got a bowl with chicken gyro the “diwan way” over fries. For an appetizer, we got the hummus with beef shawarma and a pot of sage tea. Everything was delicious but the hummus and the arabic pickles were to die for! The host even sold us a container of the pickles because we loved them so much! We will definitely be coming back!

Absolutely amazing experience. The waitress was very knowledgeable about all of the food and explained what was in the dishes and how they were prepared. Very clean restaurant with tons of food options. The hummus was delicious but my personal favorite is the stuffed grape leaves! They are a must try! The portions are huge, you won’t leave hungry. If you haven’t have this style food, you need to try it from here! They know how to explain the dishes and help you find something you’ll like. The meat in the Arabic hungry boy was very tender and delicious.

Diwan is hands-down some of the best food I’ve ever had. Everything is fresh and clearly made daily, you can taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. I’ve eaten there many times and I’ve never had a bad dish. Coming from a restaurant owner myself, that says a lot. You can tell this place was opened with real intention, to bring incredible food to the community and share it with everyone. On top of that, the people who own it are genuinely wonderful!!! This place is a MUST TRY! An absolute gem. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Relaxing and impeccably expressed across all facets of a Mediterranean restaurant. The menu selections our party enjoyed were all delicious and more importantly settled nicely after the dinner. The serving staff was very attentative and Gabriele greeted us like family. There's plenty of parking in the plaza. We'll definitely be back because we enjoyed it immensely.
