Divine Kitchen is a hidden gem in the neighborhood. I have been getting the breakfast food because of going to the barbershop with my son in the mornings. I had a friend let me taste the fried whiting fish with scotch bonnet pepper sauce. I also had the jerk chicken previously which was good. It was seasoned deliciously. They prepare great food there. Quick and delicious. Go get yours today with some Jamaican love blended into it. Worth a visit.
Came in to try their Jamaican Patty. They have a variety Beef, Curry, Veggie & Spinach. I got a Beef & a Curry patty & thoroughly enjoyed both patties. Curry was delicious as was the beef patty which had just the right amount of heat for me. Crusts were flaky, crisp to the bite & filled with yummy flavorful filling. 10/10 recommend. They also have a variety of drinks & I finally got a Pineapple Guava drink-if you know, you know!! 2 pattys & my drink came up just under $10.00 & Worth It! (I thought Justin may have missed charging me something because I haven’t had a meal for less than $10 in a whiles😉) Will is the Chef who makes it Fresh & has Soups, Sandwiches, Salads, Wings & more! Justin l, who oh so polite & helpful, recommends the Chicken tender sandwich which I will absolutely try.
Had a great experience here! It’s a vibey little spot with some traditional favs and great music! We stuck with the safe foods 😁 but will try other things as well! Will definitely revisit
It was just Ok. Chicken tenders were not that tender as other places I’ve been and they were a little bland.
Okay, I had no true plans to enter but the music and man sitting outside, created an atmosphere that was welcoming. The young man at the front that took the order is an introvert (which is okay). He was kind and let me review my order before leaving. I got one of each patty, jerk chicken and wings. It was great food. The plantains were hands down my favorite of all local spots I’ve tried. If I had to give any feedback, it was warm inside (reminded me of being home in PR) but still warm. The rice didn’t taste fresh but it was still good. Again I’ll be coming back and surprised they don’t have a line out the door! 😊
