Picked up a to go order, place seemed super lovely. Only down side was that the report said that it would be ready and I was still kept waiting for another 10-12mins. So if you are ordering delivery be mindful that carriers may be told it’s ready when it isn’t. HOWEVER, the food was amazing and they have lots of vegetarian options. They also have some of my favorite chopsticks (the rounded ones that you don’t have to break). A couple weeks later I came back for delivery service. Placed the order (on Dim Sum’s website) before opening and I will say, delivered to perfection. Previously I’d posted 4/5 Service stars for the delay in the pickup time, corrected today for 5/5. Not to mention that the food is wonderful, I didn’t quite care for the Dan Dan noodles w Chili Peanut Sauce. These were
The noodles with pork and pickled veggies were disappointing. The soup tastes like watered down soy sauce and peppers and the pork tasted cheap and unbearable. The noodles tasted bland and cheap, were not boiled with the soup, and were too easily broken. The pickles were the best part and were probably store bought. There was not much in the dish other than filler veggies like pepper and onion and I wouldn’t make a dish like this even at home. Dumplings were good. Order the right menu.
Ordered delivery on their website. I was craving really yummy Chinese food (my fav is sesame chicken) and had my fingers crossed after reading all the positive reviews and seeing they do their own delivery. It was delivered sooo quickly by a very friendly man and the food was still so hot. It is very clearly made with love. The chicken is cooked well and fresh! I also did not encounter any questionable pieces of chicken which is very important to me :)
First visit on a blustery cold weekend. Was looking forward to delicious noodle soup. Received spaghetti noodles in brown water with dry ‘teriyaki’ chicken on top. I’m glad I got the juicy (soup) dumplings as an appetizer; they were yummy.
Hidden treasure in plain site glad I came across it. If I ever come back to Philly definitely eating here.
