Customer Reviews
I tried their deep dish pizza for delivery and it turned out impressive. I usually do not prefer this Chicago style, but this one was far better than what I have had before. The flavor and quality really surprised me in the best way.
I haven’t been to diLeo’s in years and was nearby so I thought I would give it a try as it has been in business for many years. I ordered an eggplant parmigiana sandwich with fries and cold slaw. The fries were fresh and hot, the cold slaw was good as well. Unfortunately the fries were piled on top the sandwich making it impossible to pick up the sandwich. After I ate enough fries to grab the sandwich it completely fell apart. The sandwich was nothing special and very salty. If you want a good eggplant parmigiana sandwich go to Armand’s in downtown Elmhurst. FYI, no bathroom so don’t plan on eating in. I was told to go next door and use their bathroom. Kind of awkward if you don’t buy anything.
So I was hungry and looking for some Italian food that wouldn’t break the bank. Found Dali’s Carry Out & Catering in Elmhurst and decided to give it a try. I called to order and at first they put me on hold, but then they actually called me back (already a good sign). The lady on the phone was super nice. I asked for the Thursday lasagna special… but it was actually Wednesday 🤦. She laughed and said “don’t worry, we got you.” Loved that. I ordered lasagna, garlic bread, and tiramisu. Said it’d be ready in 20 minutes. I got to the restaurant. It’s a very small place, but appeared clean and well kept. This is a family owned and operated business and the people working there seemed very friendly. The next thing I noted was there was no tip option when I paid with my credit card. There was al
It had been several years since I ordered from DiLeo’s, they did not disappoint. From my first phone call placing my catering order with John, to picking up my order on NYE, the entire staff was so pleasant and kind. My order was perfect and the food did not disappoint as usual. Thank you for making this such a great experience from A-Z. I have already told all of my friends and family to go here for their catering needs and will continue to do so myself.
DiLeo’s catered my son’s XC dinner and the food was delicious and the service/delivery impeccable and friendly. The vodka pasta and the chicken parm were favorites but there was not a drop left - almost all the boys came back for 3rds. 🫣 My son said the boys loved the food so much that they were even talking about it at school the next day. Therese was lovely to work with and she made great recommendations. Job well done DiLeo’s!
