Diedrich Espresso Oak Harbor

I've been coming here for a couple years now and adore the staff. Prices are fair given the competition around them and their coffee/teas/energy drinks greatly customizable to accommodate even the pickiest of pallates. They even carry Poppin boba, a fantastic addition to many energy inspired drinks!! A fair assortment of quick bites to eat and snacks for on the go. I personally love their creativity when I ask them to surprise me.

This Diedrich has been one of my favorite places to get coffee since it’s so close to my house, but we had a really unkind experience tonight with the barista. The barista was really rude, and didn’t seem like she wanted to answer questions we had about a drink. Then, after starting our drinks another car pulled up to the next window and it was someone the barista knew so we got completely ignored and questioned unanswered while she made and chit chatted with the other car about their drinks while we were still waiting. Just kinda crappy service for $15 drinks + tipping.

Every time I go in the evening, I have to wait 15-20 minutes before the 1 car leaves sometimes longer. Talking to customers is totally fine but it's unacceptable to hold up the line for that longjust to talk to a customer. Sometimes its so long of a wait(25 minutes plus) that i just leave. definitely will be taking my business to Cafe de Liso.

I highly recommend this place! Their drinks are always good. The baristas remember me and what i like 😁 i asked for flavor suggestions for a red bull drink, and she gave me a choice of fruity, tropical or something else and the drink was so good!! Love them!
