Customer Reviews
Multiple times there was an older lady who visited our table to see if we needed anything. The young men who took our order were both very friendly. The food was hot, and delicious. They have 3 BBQ sauces out by the drinks, and there are a few specialty sauces available upon request. Everyone gets an ice cream cone at the end of the meal. This was the PERFECT spot for a family fun lunch date.
We hadn’t been to Dickey’s in awhile. The customer service was great. They greeted you and was ready to take your order as soon as you walk in. The food was ready by the time we got to the end of the line to pay. In the dining room they have free ice cream which is a great idea for those family nights. The barbecue options of sweet, original, and spicy in the dining room were great also. While the food we got was okay, the overall experience was worthwhile. The food items we got were the brisket tacos, pulled chicken sandwich, and macaroni and cheese. I also had a sample of the brisket chili which was good.
As always the BBQ was spot on! My wife and I got the 1/2 rack rib platter, with the creamed spinach and okra! The serving team was quick and efficient in getting our food out and we were eating in no time. We prefer Dickies over all the other BBQ joints in the Dayton area.
Never can go wrong here. Best food I've found in a long time. Even my 5 year old picky as all get out on meat granddaughter. She keeps asking can we go to that meat place to eat. We will always be life long fans.
LarderRoom...They say you can smell the BBQ from down the street. I don't know about that but the aroma of smoldering hickory wood smacks you in the nose holes the minute you park your car in the parking lot. It's impossible to not enter, try it, dare you. I've tried the brisket (both sliced and chopped), the chicken, and all the kielbasas. I haven't had the ribs yet, but they are on my must try list. The sides are also amazing. The containers look small but somehow it's the perfect amount. Also, get the pickles they offer on the side. Delicious and a great way to cut the heat of the spicy BBQ sauce. Get ready for the meat sweats!
