Definitely a big difference since new management. For the price I think it's worth it compared to the other over priced places in the area. The service has always been great but now the food is up there too. Only thing is I would add a couple more ounces of meat to the orders and it would be perfect. Definitely will come here more often.

Really enjoy this place. My wife has celiacs so avoiding gluten is always a concern, and this place has been incredibly accommodating. Every time I've come in, her food comes prepared after a change of gloves, over a clean surface cutting board. The owner (who was working the line at my last visit) bagged her food separately. The food is consistent and tasty, and the care and attention shown by the staff, even visits where the owner wasn't present, is something I deeply appreciate. Highly recommend.

I ordered 3 meat platter, I got sliced brisket, pulled pork, and BBQ ribs, and a 1/4 side order of chicken and I did not receive any sliced brisket and instead double chicken then for my sides I got Mac and cheese, and mash potatoes with gravy. Didn't receive either. Got a loaded potato on the side at least I received that. Got a $2 refund.

Did 3 meat platter with brisket, pulled pork and ribs. All excellent..pull apart, amazing flavor and texture. Fried okra was perfect -- best I've had as the okra wasn't overcooked. Coleslaw also perfect. Definitely returning. Owner very invested and involved. Highly recommend and we'll be returning.

Before new ownership was announced, I would stop by after work (4:30 or so), there was a young man who was always at the counter who acknowledged me, had excellent small talk skills and i always felt welcome. Recently, the main person left the counter as i arrived to as manager a question, they were gone waaaay to long for an easy question. in my experience in food service, means the manager was difficult to find and/or they were chit chatting. the other person up front was packing an order and didn't acknowledge my presence, actively avoiding eye contact. I'd like that guy back. i will continue to stop by for these quick bites, but if the vibe doesn't pick back up, i'll go out of my way back to Po Boys after work.
