Dickey's Barbecue Pit

We used Dickey's in North Branch to cater a sports awards banquet for 150 people. Hannah is their catering contact and she was so fantastic to work with! There was a direct number right to her and she even answered at odd times. She was so kind and eager to help with anything! We originally have her a 200 head count. Went down to 140 a week prior. Then up to 150 3 days prior. All with no complaints; they were happy to accommodate. Tim delivered our order and made sure we had everything we needed! Dropped it off with plenty of time for us to get it set up. We did the 2 meat combo with 3 sides and Texas toast. The brisket and chicken were delicious. I used to get dickeys all the time a few years ago but when i went again recently it was horrible there were two teenage girls working and they were making tiktoks and messing around and i asked for chopped brisket well done and i got it not chopped and the fattiest pieces and in my fries i found a uncooked fry.

I ordered the three meat plate. The food had good flavor and the portion sizes were good. The two side dishes were hot when served; however, all three meats were cold, which caused some concern from a food safety standpoint.

Tim Davis is an absolute delight to be around. Helpful, very friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve been coming here for the last 2 years and enjoy the Marinated Chicken and Brisket every time! A family friendly business well deserving of more brisket orders! I come back often and will be back again.

Server was super helpful, okra is awesome & the sauces/spices are great stocking or gift items too.
