Dickey's Barbecue Pit

My daughter and I had dinner here for the first time tonight. The ladies working were phenomenal and the “Manager Special” was delicious! For $12.50 including the “Big Yellow Cup” it was a great deal! Sorry I started eating before I remembered that I wanted to write a review of the fantastic experience we had tonight. Shout out to AMANDA- she was working the counter and the drive through totally by herself. And she was friendly, courteous, quick, and keeping her cool and managing everything great! The dining room was clean, the food was delicious and a great value. The Thursday daily special was 12.99 for pulled pork, sausage, 2 sides, a roll, drink and ice cream. We had to ask for a takeout box. We were there around 3pm. It wasn't crowded but there was a steady stream of customers at the counter and drive through. Businesses need more workers like AMANDA- she's awesome. I think she deserves a raise! Thank you Amanda!

Dickey's is THE PLACE for BBQ in the area...the perfect mix of quality, value and great service from the team make this a must stop if you are in the area looking for some Texas BBQ. I couldn't decide what to have so I was very kindly given an off menu 'little bit of everything' and not one thing disappointed. I was with 4 others and their feedback was very similar. If we are ever in the area again these UK based storm chasers will be stopping by. Any chance of the recipe for those cowboy beans? Thanks Y'all.

Phenomenal food at an amazing price! I had the 3 meat plate and there was so much food. Under $20 including a drink!

Upon entry, the aroma was great. The property was clean, service friendly and efficient, and the food tasty. There were several sauce choices.
