Dickey's Barbecue Pit

I only love 1 server here making my meals and that's the tatted server who wear the glasses.. I think his name is Chris. His customer service is A1. He makes the best loaded potatos and slices the brisket the best way. If you visit, be sure to tip your server! They deserve it.

As it was my first time in Texas, I tried the first place open close to the hotel. I order Uber Eats and was sorely disappointed. Bland, dry meats that without the sauce would have epically failed. Pork & Beans, calling it baked beans - sad. Sweet Tea without the sweet. I am scared of what else I may find in Dallas.

Can't recommend. Service was not good as we were ignored for about five minutes while people came in after us were helped immediately. Used to come to this location often. Today it was 50 dollars for two two-meat plates with shredded meat. When I showed the manager my plate and asked if they could cut slices instead of shredding I was told that their product changed and that's just how it comes. Pretty disappointing to raise prices and reduce food quality. Hopefully not all Dickeys locations are like this.

Upon arrival, we were not greeted. When we requested assistance, the employee spoke to us while simultaneously attending another customer in the drive-thru. The chicken was initially placed on a to-go plate, and afterward we were asked whether the order was for dine-in or to go. When we stated it was for dine-in, the chicken was abruptly transferred to another plate. The food was cold, lacked flavor, and the portion size was very small for the price of $19.99. This was my first visit and will be my last. I am not satisfied with the quality of the food or the level of customer service.

I have eaten at this location several times. Each time the food is consistently hot and delicious. A much better value than the other barbecue restaurants. The staff here is always so friendly and helpful. Never disappoints.
