Hands down, best looking (beautiful colors!) and best tasting shrimp, chemical free, I have ever had in over 20 years! I have been looking for shrimp that doesn't have that typical iodine taste... No matter where I went, always chemical aftertaste. I thought cleaning and deveining would help... No... This shrimp is the best I have ever tasted! Better than restaurants! I bought a bunch of boxes and was so pleasantly surprised to see a little seaweed in the bag and the shrimp were not frozen in a block of ice (chemical laced water)... A sign this is fresh and flash frozen instead of using chemicals like all the others! The shrimp arrived frozen and in excellent condition. We opened one box and immediately separated 5 pounds into 5 quart containers. Thawed one pound and had the best shrimp

Diamond Shoal Shrimp Co. has the best, freshest tasting shrimp I've had in a looooong time. You can tell that the shrimp are probably naturally raised and caught because there is no off-putting fish or iodine taste. I've shopped for shrimp near me and can't find anything close. The color of the shrimp was beautiful. I'm amazed! The shrimp arrived nice and froze at my house. You can portion them out when they are frozen pretty easily. I recommend doing that so you don't have to eat the whole 5 pounds at once. Shrimp are so easy and fast to cook. It's a nice treat! I'll definitely be ordering again now that I found a good supply.
