Diablos Chicken

This is literally the best chicken I’ve ever eaten in my life. Hand prepared, marinated, seasoned and cooked over a custom charcoal grill to be authentically Sinaloa-style. Friendly and welcoming owners too! He made me a custom margarita (the way I specifically like it), and even asked me to taste before pouring. It’s conveniently located right off the highway, in the historic Soulard neighborhood. If it’s out of your way, it’s still worth the drive.

I LOVE coming in. Diablos Chicken and Mas Tequila share a space. I’ve had both multiple times and you won’t go wrong with whatever you order. The spicy chicken from Diablos Chicken is incredible and so flavorful. I cannot recommend the chicken, a corn soft tortilla and beans enough. Pair it with a strawberry margarita or a Blue Majik and it is incredible. If you order off of the Mas Tequila menu, you’ll still be satisfied. The chicken burrito is elevated and such a breath of fresh air in St. Louis. If you love Mexican food, this is the place to go. It’ll give you a whole new appreciation.

The food was absolutely delicious! The chicken was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The staff was super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

Amazing charcoal-roasted Sinaloa-style chicken, With perfect marinade and Seasoning through and through, from a quaint Family-run establishment. I went for the spicy 🌶️ Diablo Chicken option, but they also have a regular spice option Diablo Chicken is only available on weekends I was told, but definitely worth the stop. We went here after a visit to the ~250-year-old continuously-operating Soulard Farmers’ Market. A great day trip and meal.
